Position Overview:

As the Communications Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative and public image of our organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across various channels, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement strategic communication plans aligned with organizational goals and initiatives.
  1. Brand Management: Oversee the organization's brand identity, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual representation, and tone across all communication channels.
  1. Media Relations: Cultivate relationships with media outlets, respond to media inquiries, and proactively pitch stories to generate positive coverage.
  1. Content Creation: Lead the creation of compelling and engaging content, including press releases, articles, social media posts, and multimedia materials.
  1. Digital and Social Media Management: Develop and execute a robust social media strategy, manage digital platforms, and analyze data to optimize online presence.
  1. Internal Communications: Facilitate effective internal communication strategies to ensure all team members are informed and aligned with organizational messaging.
  1. Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans, serving as the primary spokesperson during challenging times.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, community partners, and influencers to enhance the organization's visibility and reputation.

        Qualifications:

        • Proven experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.
        • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
        • Ability to effectively manage media relationships and crisis communication.

        Requirements:

        • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a relevant field (master’s degree preferred).
        • A minimum of 3 years of experience in communications or related roles.
        • Proficiency in digital media, social media platforms, and communication tools.
